By being transparent, the district can address concerns more effectively, gather valuable feedback, and make informed decisions that align with the needs and expectations of the community. Also, transparent communication among fellow board members is foundational to effective governance, accountability, and the overall success of the organization they serve.
We want to create a culture of transparency and open dialogue. During the six years I have been a board member, the board has taken several measures :

How Can I Help?
Board members are meant to represent their community. I have made myself accessible to everyone and always willing to have a discussion. I consistently attend district listening sessions to ensure I hear all sides. I believe being direct creates transparent dialogue by promoting clarity, openness, and efficiency in communication. I will continue to build a foundation for trust, encourage honest expression, and contributes to the overall effectiveness of the Kirkwood School Board.
